Upon approval, your accreditation badge will allow you access to all special press screenings as well as press conferences with attending filmmakers and talent. It will also give you free access to all festival screenings (subject to seat availability), with the exception of gala screenings. This badge will allow you to use the press center and the viewing library at the festival headquarters at Madinat Jumeirah.
If you are from the industry, you will have the opportunity on the form to accept to appear in the Industry Guide. By accepting this, you enable us to print out your professional information in the guide. NOTE: If you register after the industry guide deadline, which is on November 1, 2007, your information will not appear in the guide. This is due to printing and production deadlines of the publication.
When is the deadline for submitting the registration application form?
The deadline for submitting the online application is November 15, 2007.
What happens once I have registered?
Once your registration form has been processed and approved, you will be informed by email. Registration badges will be available for all approved delegates at the festival headquarters in December. The exact dates and timing for collection will be communicated to you once your application has been processed and approved.
What are the visa requirements for attending DIFF 2007?
You do not need a visa to enter the UAE if you are a national of any of the following countries:
Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, GCC Countries (Gulf Cooperation Council), Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, and Vatican City.
If you are applying for registration to the festival from a country where a visa is required, DIFF will arrange this for you provided your application for registration has been approved.
Before completing this Registration Form, please remember to have a digital photograph of yourself ready to upload, which we require in order to prepare your accreditation badge for festival screenings and press events. If you do not submit a photograph with this form, you may experience delays upon your arrival at the festival.
