DIFF, IWC Schaffhausen host Dubai Cares & Oxfam charity gala tonight

The Dubai International Film Festival and luxury Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen will host ‘One Night to Change Lives’, a black-tie charity event tonight under the patronage of UN Messenger of Peace HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice- President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. All proceeds from the gala dinner and charity auction at the Armani Hotel will be donated to UAE-based philanthropic organisation Dubai Cares and global development and aid agency, Oxfam. The DIFF Red Carpet was invaded by an excited gang of Dubai kids yesterday afternoon as the hotly-awaited ‘The Muppets' movie finally rolled into town to the clear delight of the young audience (and not a few mistyeyed, nostalgic parents, too).
