Fred Schepisi

Fred Schepisi is a celebrated film-maker, who was awarded the Order of Australia for his service to the Australian film industry as a director, producer and screenwriter. His filmography includes: THE DEVIL'S PLAYGROUND (1976, six AFI awards, including Best Film) ; EVIL ANGELS (1988, AFI Best Achievement in Direction and Best Screenplay Adaptation, and two Golden Globe nominations); the Will Smith-starring SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION (1993); and EMPIRE FALLS (2004, Golden Globe for Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for Television).
