Nuri Bilge Ceylan
Turkish filmmaker Nuri Bilge Ceylan (born 1959) is a Cannes Film Festival favourite. He won the Grand Jury Prize for his third feature "Uzak (Distant)" (2002), FIPRESCI Movie Critics' Award for "Iklimler (Climates)" (2006) and the Best Director Award for "Uç Maymun (Three Monkeys)" (2008) at the festival.
