Dyana Gaye

Dyana Gaye (born 1975, France) won the Louis Lumière-Villa Médicis scholarship in 1999 for her script A GIRL FOR SOULEYMANE. Her film DEWENETI (2006) won the Jury Prize at the International Short Film Festival in Clermond-Ferrand, and was one of five films nominated for Best Short Film at the 2008 César awards. In 2009, she directed the musical SAINT-LOUIS BLUES, which won the Muhr AsiaAfrica Best Short Film award at DIFF 2009.
