Mostofa Farooki
Mostofa Sarwar Farooki is a contemporary Bangladeshi director and screenwriter. He is a pioneer of an avant-garde filmmakers’ movement in Bangladesh called chabial. Aimed at real life storytelling, the movement has amassed a large following amongst younger audiences. His award-winning THIRD PERSON SINGULAR was a festival hit premiering at Busan before moving on to Rotterdam and 15 international festivals.
