Synopsis

The generous Dr Pinget brings a young Moroccan boy, Mounir, back to Belgium to raise him as his own son. As he grows older, Mounir falls madly in love with Murielle, who agrees to be his wife. When they marry and have a family, their dependence on the doctor becomes excessive and Murielle finds herself caught up in an unhealthy emotional climate that insidiously leads the family towards a tragic outcome.
