Synopsis

With its 1960s hippy breaking of the rules, striving for sexual and political freedoms, flower power and anti-Vietnam war protests, this musical love story is told through the Beatles' timeless songs, which speak to every succeeding generation. Jude (Jim Sturgess) leaves his job in the Liverpool shipyards to find his father in the US, promising his girlfriend Molly that he will "send all my love to you". Meeting Ivy League student Max (Joe Anderson), he sets off with him to live in New York and falls in love with Max's sister, Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood).
