Synopsis

Pedro returns to his daughters - now older and distant - and his wife in a small Mexican village after years of working in the US. It takes time for the family to learn to live together and work is not plentiful so Pedro, with some of the money saved in the US, sets out to fulfill his dream - to establish a band to play at local events. Winner of the Cannes Critics' Week director Esparza, in his debut feature, subtly and effectively delineates home and locality in a moving meditation on migration.
