Synopsis
Abu Raed (Nadim Sawalha) is an old airport janitor who's always dreamt of seeing the world, but only experienced it vicariously through books and brief encounters with air travellers. In his poor neighborhood, Abu Raed befriends a group of children who show up at his door one morning wanting to hear about his adventures around the world. They all think he was an airline pilot. While he takes the children to colourful places around the world through his fictional stories, he begins to discover the grim realities in their lives and tries to make a difference. Captain Abu Raed is a universal story of friendship, inspiration and heroism.
