GONE BABY GONE

Synopsis

Boston private detective Patrick (Casey Affleck) and his partner, personal and professional, Angie (Michelle Monaghan), are asked by Bea McCready (Amy Madigan) to undertake an investigation into the kidnapping of her niece, four-year old Amanda. Patrick is convinced that by using his contacts in the criminal world he can break the case. Working at odds with and, occasionally, alongside two cops (Ed Harris and John Ashton), Patrick finds himself in a maze of false leads and moral ambiguities.
