THE VALLEY OF TEARS

Synopsis

Marie, a Canadian editor, begins to receive anonymous packages from a young Palestinian who grew up in a Lebanese refugee camp. Intrigued, she begins to investigate the stories, with the help of Joseph, a Lebanese worker hired to paint her offices. Marie's mission eventually takes her to Lebanon, on a journey back into a bloodstained, traumatic history, on a bid to unlock the secrets of an ever-expanding past.
