Synopsis

An Italian shepherd in today’s Italy? Surely not – but this is a character like no other. The incredible story of Renato Zucchelli, the last travelling shepherd living in the wild landscape of Lombardi with only his dog (and hundreds of sheep) for company. But it’s not all as it seems and Renato’s travels take us not only to the streets of Milan but to a portrait of a man like no other and who some city children will never forget for their day of wonder. Ultimately a poetic and truly moving film.
