Synopsis
Director Tamer Ezzat uses a cinema verite style to capture the stories of four Egyptians who dream of leaving their country in search of a better life. Myriam wants to move to Canada; Hams is on a quest to find a place where she can belong; Motaz's limited income prevents him from obtaining the “simple things in life”; Sebaei wants to be a singer and thinks he can achieve his goal by emigrating. The director expresses their troubles and dreams with considerable style and vitality. The result is touching and dramatic, humorous and real.
