THINGS WE LOST IN THE FIRE

Synopsis

Audrey (Halle Berry) and Brian (David Duchovny) are happily married with two young children. One night Brian is shot dead whilst aiding a woman who is being attacked. At the wake appears Jerry (Benicio del Toro), a dishevelled figure amongst the mourners, Brian's lifelong friend and a long-term drug addict, for whom Audrey never had much time. Eventually, the bereft Audrey invites Jerry to live in her guest house, to try and overcome their mutually desperate situations.
