Synopsis
Ouardia drags her son's body to bury him a few steps away from her abandoned house, deep in Algeria's mountains, where a one-armed shepherd tends to his goats. Tarek, her dead son, has been killed by Ali, her other son, the leader of an Islamic extremist group, in which Tarek was a soldier. Ouardia's small patch of land is the only patch of green in her otherwise gloomy life. Her solitude, defined by tears, while her life hangs between heaven and earth…
