Students’ Day
In an effort to give the younger generation greater access to the world of filmmaking and show them the possibilities and options associated with a career in the film industry, the festival holds open days for secondary school and university students.
Universities and tertiary-level institutes that offer film and other media-related programmes in the UAE and the region have desks at the festival centre and students get the opportunity to talk to them about the various courses on offer and soak in the atmosphere of the festival.
In addition, the Industry Office organises panel discussions and workshops that are designed to give students valuable insights and tools for pursuing a career in the film industry.
