Encarnación (Silvia Perez), nicknamed Erni, is an actress in her late forties, still dressing as a twentysomething. Her career never rose above B-movies featuring her sexy body, and now she only appears in occasional television dramas and commercials. Erni is on the margins, aware of people’s comments (“Isn’t she the one who… ?”; “Wasn’t she in… ?”). One weekend, visiting her rural home town for her niece’s fifteenth birthday, she veers between behaving like a teenage friend, a loving aunt – and spending the night with her hotel’s sexy young manager.

ANAHI BERNERI was born in 1975 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She wrote and directed her feature debut, A Year Without Love (2005), winner of the Teddy award for Best Feature at the Berlin International Film Festival, and produced Silvia Prieto (1999) and Modelo para armar (1997).
