After an accident, estranged brothers Jack (Jason Schwartzman), Peter (Adrien Brody) and Francis (Owen Wilson), join up to travel by train through India on a quasi-spiritual quest - but Francis’ hidden goal is to find their long-absent mother, Patricia (Angelica Huston). All three brothers are emotional wrecks, totally oblivious to their surroundings. But when Patricia again disappears they are ready to discover the truth of their lives. For fans of Wes Anderson (Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums), and those new to his work, this shaggy-dog ‘road trip’ will be unforgettable.
