Byamba Sakhya graduated from film Institute VGIK in Moscow in 1996 as a cinematographer. He has worked on different international co-productions, such as ‘State of Dogs’ (Grand Prix, Visions du Reel, Lyon 1998) and ‘Khadak’ (Winner of the Lion of the Future, Venice 2006).
